Exquisite Original 1930s Vintage Belted Brown Boucle Wool Fit And Flare Coat With Large Fox Fur Collar
This exceptional coat was made in the 1930s from rich chocolate brown textured bouclé wool. It was cut in the classic pre war silhouette with a straighter fit that can be cinched in at the waist with its original fabric tie belt. A large sumptuous fox fur collar adds real luxury to the piece and a single ornate button fastens the coat at the waist. The tailoring and quality of this piece are simply beautiful. The shoulders have been shaped with expert seam work and the sleeves were wonderfully tailored in at the cuff to add shape and elegance. Inside, the coat is lined in brown crepe with a hidden pocket and there is a maker’s label for Corsonia, a British brand famed for their exquisitely tailored, fur collared coats.
