Stunning Original 1930s 30s Black Veiled Wimple Hat
This stunning hat was made from black crepe in the 1930s. It was fashioned with a low crown adorned with top stitched detailing and a raised brim at the front. The brim features oval shaped cut outs that have been backed with sheer georgette arranged in a half flower shape and surrounded by matching stitch details. A long black georgette veil has been attached in large pleats at the back of the hat and has been adorned with circular details at each corner. The veil can be worn at the back of the hat, loosely slung over the shoulder or pinned for a wimple style. This piece has true femme fatale vibes and will be an absolute head turner whenever you wear it.

The hat is in very good condition with only one of the fabric layers on two of the circular veil edges detaching slightly as pictured.
