Ethereal Original 1920s Antique White Embroidered Lace Flapper Dress
This exceptional dress was made in the 1920s from delicate ivory net tulle that has been expertly hand embroidered throughout with floral motifs. The dress has a wonderfully light ethereal quality, perfect for hot summer days or as a wedding dress. It was cut in the classic straight silhouette of the flapper era with an irregular zigzag hem which adds lovely movement. The hem, V-neckline and sleeves feature a rolled edge to finish the garment off and this detailing is also picked up on the drop waist seam. Delicate pin tucks run down the sides of the dress from the shoulders to the drop waist and below the drop waist the skirt is slightly gathered to create movement.
There are no openings and the dress slides on over the head. Please allow for this in the measurements below.
