This stunning summer suit was made from an unusual grass green cotton in the late 1940s. It is cut loosely in a classic summer suit style with unpadded shoulders and a less fitted waist. The sharp notched lapel collar leads to a single row of three grey mother of pearl buttons that fasten the blazer. Matching buttons have been used on the huge functional patch pockets at the waist, which add a real statement feature to this suit. The matching skirt has been cut in an A line style and fastens with an original metal side zipper and hook and eye closure above.

Waist: 27” but has been taken in at some point so 4” could be let out at the waist taking this back to 31”

Length: 31” plus 1” hem
The suit is in good condition with only a slight popped seam to the underarm seam which would benefit from reinforcing. There is some very slight discolouration to one sleeve as well as the collar as pictured but this is barely noticeable. The skirt has some very light spotting as pictured and has been crudely taken in at the waist and personally I would let it back out to its original size or have it altered more professionally.
