Wonderful Original 1950s Vintage Teal Taffeta Dress And Bolero Set By Jonathan Logan
This stunning dress set was made in the 1950s from beautiful iridescent teal green taffeta. The dress was cut in a strapless fit and flare silhouette with a tightly nipped waist and a voluminous skirt full of gorgeous movement. The bodice features a sweetheart neckline and gathered bandeau bust before tailoring in further to give definition to the wearers waist. Gorgeous velvet detailing adorns the top of the bust and structural boning at the sides and centre front add shape to the bodice. An original metal zipper fastens the dress at the back and a matching cropped bolero jacket finishes the outfit perfectly. The jacket was designed with a small sweeping shawl collar and padded shoulders and has the Jonathan Logan maker’s label.
