Original 1940s 40s Vintage Navy Blue Gabardine Skirt Suit By Stagnittos
This stunning suit was made from navy blue gabardine in the 1940s. It is cut in the classic hourglass silhouette of the period with strong padded shoulders and a nipped waist. The sharp notched lapel collar leads to a row of three fabric covered buttons. Matching buttons have also been used to decorate the large statement pockets, which enhance the shape of the jacket. Inside, the jacket is lined in navy crepe and has a maker’s label for Stagnitto’s of New York. The matching skirt has been adorned with two fabric covered buttons at the rear split, which add a wonderfully sexy detail to the silhouette. The skirt also has super flattering darting across the rear and fastens with an original metal side zipper and button closure above.
