This beautiful skirt was made from white and blue striped cotton in the late Victoria era. It was cut in the classic style of an underskirt of the period that is loosely fitted with a gentle flare. The hem was crafted from a separate panel to flare out further and it’s stripes run diagonally. The skirt fastens with a drawstring waist but hooks could be added below to fully close the opening.

The skirt is in good condition, however there are some visible darns and a couple of small marks as pictured.
