Wonderful Original 1940s Vintage Forest Green Coat With Fur Trim And Cuffs
This amazing coat was made in the 1940s from rich forest green wool. It was cut in the classic swing silhouette of the period with strong padded shoulders and a loose fit below. The coat features a statement blonde fur panel that runs around the collar and all the way down the plackets to the hem of the piece. Matching fur adorns the cuffs and there are small functional slit pockets at the waist. Linear seam work at the back of the coat further emphasises the strong shape of the coat and inside, it is lined in sumptuous green satin.

The coat is in very good condition with only a few tiny flaws as pictured, however the lining of one of the pockets is damaged and two fur hooks are missing (will include suitable replacements if I can find them.
