This fabulous collection was made in the 1940s from a warm grey gabardine. It was cut in the classic swing coat silhouette of the period with strong padded shoulders and a loose fit below. The sharp collar features a small point at the back and leads to a single button that fastens the coat at the neck. Unusual triangular pockets give the coat a geometric vibe, which continues to the back of the piece where strong geometric seams add a great design detail. Inside, the coat is lined in satin and has a maker’s label for Donenfeld’s.

The coat is in good condition, however there are a few faint marks as well as some slight wear to the lining.
