This amazing coat was made in the late 1940s from tan wool. It was cut in the classic wrap over style of the period with an original fabric belt to nip in the waist. The notched lapel collar and darting at the shoulders highlight the strong structured shoulder line and functional slit pockets add a practical feature. Inside, the coat is lined in satin and has a Forstmann wool label and a maker’s tag for George David Fashions.

The coat is in good condition with only a few fabric grazes and some seam splits to the lining as pictured.
