Exceptional Original 1920s Vintage Cream Silk Charmeuse Flapper Dress With Devoré Velvet Bodice
This exceptional dress was made in the 1920s and is an absolute flapper girl’s dream. The cream devoré velvet bodice features a wonderful geometric art deco pattern and a high neckline and gathered shoulders. The bodice is beautifully draped and open at the sides to reveal the side panels in a stunning ivory silk charmeuse. The fabric is wonderfully weighty and truly shines, pure luxury! A burnout velvet cummerbund sits on the low waist and below it the silk charmeuse skirts falls in loose pleats. A gold lamé trimmed rose adornment decorates the side of the cummerbund. The structure below the dress is absolutely stunning with some poppers in the skirt and a mesh underbodice to take any strain.
The dress mostly slides on over the head and us intended to be loose fitting, so please allow some room in the below measurements.
