Amazing Original 1940s Vintage Navy Blue Crepe Lightweight Princess Coat With Button Details
This beautiful coat was made in the 1940s from lightweight navy blue crepe. It was cut in the classic fit and flare style if the period with structured shoulders, a nipped waist and a flared skirt. The large sharp collar has been accented with two buttons on each side and greater a flattering deep V neckline. A double button closure fastens the coat at the waist and turn up cuffs finish off the sleeves perfectly. Beautiful tailoring and princess seaming highlights the hourglass silhouette of the coat at the back and the skirt falls in flattering pleats. The coat is unlined inside and a wonderful lightweight garment for spring and summer.
