Beautiful Original 1930s 30s Vintage Deep Purple Lightweight Redingote Coat With Soutache Details
This stunning coat was made from a deep blue / purple crepe in the 1930s. It has a wonderful structured redingote silhouette, despite having unpadded shoulders. The collarless design creates a deep V neckline that runs to the single hook fastening the coat at the waist. Stunning soutache embroidery decorated the bust, waist and hip area of the coat and adds a real design statement. Inside, the coat is unlined, making it ideas as a spring / summer coat.

Length: 30 1/2” plus 2” hem
The coat is in good condition, however there are areas of faint discolouration that can really only be seen in very strong light (see lightened picture vs the daylight one) as well as a couple of marks, snags and a seam pop as pictured.
