These beautiful crochet lace gloves were made in the 1930s. They feature beautiful needle work with small circular stitching running up the top of the hand and gorgeous rosettes at the wrist. The cuff has been styled in a zigzag gauntlet design with further decorative rosettes.
The crochet offers an element of stretch, giving some flexibility of size but the gloves are very narrow. I could get them on at a size 6 1/2 with some persuasion but would not recommend for larger.
The gloves are in good condition with no breaks in the crochet but would benefit from spot treating as there are a number of faint marks as pictured.
