This cute hat was made in the 1950s from brown felt. It was styled in a classic cap design with a statement folded flourish at the front. The flourish was trimmed with brown velvet and adorned with a beautiful beaded decoration. Remnants of the original ceiling are still attached but could be removed if desired. Inside, there is a grosgrain hat band for protection and a stamped maker’s label for Newmann Endler Inc Fair Field Felts.
As the hat perches loosely on the wearer’s head, it is suitable for a variety of head sizes.
The hat is in good condition with only some breaks in the lace as pictured. The lace could be removed if desired.
