This stunning hat was made from stitched burgundy shiny plaited cellophane in the 1940s. It is fashioned as a small fedora with a shaped crown and a medium brim. A burgundy grosgrain hat band decorates the crown and is tied in a bow at the side.
As this hat perches loosely on the wearer’s head, it is suitable for a variety of head sizes.
The hat is in very good condition with only a few areas of slight paint loss as pictured.
