This stunning dress was made in the 1930s from lightweight semi sheer black crepe. It was cut in the classic early wartime silhouette with gathered puff sleeves and a fitted waist. The bodice features wonderfully detailed burn out work in a foliage pattern and a beautiful flounce decorates the neckline. The waist seam rises up in an inverted V shape at both the front and the back, creating a flattering silhouette and the skirt flows freely in an A line. The dress does not have any openings, please allow room in the below measurements to slide it on over the head.
