Exquisite Original 1940s Volup Vintage Two Tone Mustard Yellow And Black Beaded Colour Block Dress
This incredible dress was made in the late 1930s / early 1940s from black crepe. It was cut in the classic hourglass silhouette of the period with padded shoulders and a nipped waist. The bust section features a wonderful mustard yellow colour block panel with a V neckline and pleating across the shoulders. The black section meets it in the shape of a sweetheart neckline and the bust has been adorned throughout with stunning black beadwork. Darting brings the waist in to a beautiful fitted silhouette and the dress fastens with hooks and eyes at the side.

The dress is in very good condition with only an area of wear to the mustard section and a few tiny flaws as pictured.
