Superb Original Vintage Late 1930s Vintage Navy Blue Double Breasted Fit And Flare Princess Coat
This exquisite coat was made in the 1930s from navy blue wool. It was cut in the classic fit and flare silhouette of the period with padded and gathered shoulders and a nipped waist. The super sharp collar draws the eye to the wonderful peaked shoulders and the coat fastens with twelve beautiful buttons in a double breasted arrangement. Gorgeous princess seaming shapes the coat at the back and creates lovely gores in the skirt that give it flare and movement. Inside, the coat is lined in navy crepe and remarkably does not have any maker’s labels.
