Stunning Original Late 1930s / Early 1940s Vintage Mustard Yellow And Brown Textured Coat
This incredible coat was made in the late 1930s / early 1940s from beautifully soft mustard yellow textured wool. The coat was cut with a gathered and padded shoulder line and unusual shorter length. The back features a gorgeous central inverted pleat detail. The upper section of the sharp notched lapel collar has been adorned with milk chocolate brown velvet and the coat fastens with four beautiful carved celluloid buttons in a double breasted configuration. Functional waist pockets add a practical feature to this fabulous coat and inside, it is lined in satin.

The coat is in very good condition with only a few grazes to the outside and some seam splits to the lining as pictured. The velvet on the collar is detaching slightly and would benefit from some stitches to secure it.
