Luxurious Super Soft Original 1940s Vintage Grey Double Breasted Princess Coat
This stunning coat was made in the 1940s from the soft grey wool. The textile feels so luxurious, it would not surprise us if it contained some cashmere in the blend. It was cut in the classic fit and flare silhouette of the period with strong padded shoulders, a nipped waist and a flared skirt. The notched lapel collar leads to six buttons that fasten the coat in a double breasted configuration and functional slit pockets at the waist add a practical element. Beautiful princess seaming gives tailored shape to the back of the coat and the skirt falls in gorgeous pleats. Large turn up cuffs finish off the sleeves perfectly and inside, the coat is lined in grey satin with an integral tie for a more tailored fit.
