Incredible Original 1940s 40s Vintage Emerald Green Swing Coat By Bullocks Sportswear
This magnificent coat was made from sumptuous emerald green gabardine in the late 1930s / early 1940s. It was cut in a classic swing coat style falling loosely from super strong padded shoulders to create stunning folds and movement at the back. This coat would also look absolutely stunning belted for a more fitted silhouette. The sharp dagger collar leads to a single beautiful fabric covered button that fastens the coat at the neck. Clever darts further enhance the strong shoulder line and functional slit pockets add a discrete practical element. Inside, the coat is lined in luxurious green satin and bears an early version of the collectible Bullock’s Sportswear label.
