Incredible Original 1930s Plush Corduroy Coat With Amazing Bishop Sleeves
This incredible coat was made from a rich plush corduroy in the 1930s. The coat was beautifully tailored to make a strong statement. The large ballooning bishop sleeves are sure to turn heads whenever you wear this coat and they fasten with tiny hooks and eyes at the cuff. The sleeves have been constructed in an unusual seamless manner with only a horizontal shoulder seam being used. The collarless neckline allows the amazing sleeves to be the star if the show and the coat was tailored with darts to nip in the wearer’s waist. Six square turquoise buttons fasten the coat at the front and inside, it is unlined giving it a lightweight interseasonal feel.
