This wonderful coat was made in the 1930s from lightweight black crepe. It was cut in a loose fitting, open fronted silhouette which makes it perfect as a summertime cover up. The collarless neckline has been adorned with piped trim, which runs all the way down the plackets to the hem. Beautiful pin tuck details adorn the shoulders of the piece and stunning geometric fagotting decorates the back and the sleeves of the coat. Inside, it is unlined and without maker’s labels.

The coat is in very good condition with only a few small holes as pictured.
