This amazing cape was made in the Victorian era from heavy cream wool. It was cut in a long silhouette with a shorter cape laying over the shoulders to provide an extra layer of weather protection as well as a beautiful decorative detail. The short shoulder cape features a wonderful scalloped edge which continues to run up to the small mandarin collar. Four hooks and eyes faste. The cape at the bust and gorgeous geometric top stitched detailing runs down the edges and along the hem to finish the cloak off perfectly. Inside, it is unlined but finished beautifully.

The cloak is in good condition, however there are a few pinholes and marks as pictured which may lift with further cleaning.
