This wonderful capulet hat was made from beautifully soft red fur felt in the 1940s. The hat is decorated with red grosgrain ribbon scrolls covered with black soutache embroidery on each side of the hat. Inside, it has black elastic to keep it correctly positioned below the hair as well as a label for Modello and printed on the felt G. Rossi Montevarchi.
Size: 22”
The hat is in good condition, however there is some fraying at the end of the grosgrain ribbon scroll on the wearer’s left side.
