Original Victorian 1890s Antique Brown And Cream Striped Skirt

This stunning skirt was made in the 1890s from polished cotton in a brown, cream, grey and apricot striped pattern. The skirt is cut in a classic Victorian full length style with the bottom third adorned with decorative pleating. The fabric on this section has been turned so that the stripes run horizontally rather than vertically, which gives a lovely tiered effect. The skirt ties at the waist with a band but has no other closures. 

Waist: flexible due to tie closure but measures at 31” with fabric edges meeting

Length: 32 1/2”

The skirt is in very good condition with only a few very faint marks as pictured.
