This wonderful large tote bag was made from straw in the 1940s. It features beautiful floral embroidery and a contrasting green straw rim. Inside, the bag is lined in bright pink and brown fabric. This bag is a lovely large useable size.

The bag is in good condition, however there are a number of nibbles to the green top edge. The lining has been slightly detached around the handles, presumably to firm these up, and the original owners name and address has been written on the lining.
