Amazing Original 1940s Vibrate Green Brown And Mustard Yellow Plaid Coat
This incredible short coat was made in the 1940s from warm felted wool. The jacket features a wonderful plaid pattern in vibrant shades of green, brown and mustard yellow. The waist features an elasticated panel at the back giving the wearer flexibility of movement for skiing or other sports for example. The sharp collar leads to a long zipper that fastens the coat at the front. The large patch pockets feature an unusual fold over corner detailing which is decorated with a button. Matching buttons also adorn the tabs at the cuff of the sleeves. Inside, the coat is lined in red wool and has a maker’s label for A Fine Tailored Woollen Garment.
