This fabulous hat was made from rich chestnut brown velvet in the 1950s. It is fashioned in an unusual helmet design which fits closely to the back of the wearer’s head. It is styled with a triangular central section and a large petal either side, delineated with grosgrain ribbon trim. Three pairs of large iridescent seed beads decorate each petal. Inside, the hat is lined in rayon and has s maker’s label for Obry Paris.

 

Due to the design of the hat, it is suitable for a variety of head sizes.

 

The hat is in very good condition with no issues to note.
