This incredible coat was made from navy blue wool in the 1930s. It was cut in the classic silhouette of the period with large padded gathered shoulders, a slight nip to the waist and a gentle flare to the skirt. The large collar wraps around the back of the coat in an unusual square sailor style and a single row of seven beautiful decorative buttons fastens it at the front. Inside, the coat is lined in navy crepe, has a hidden pocket and a maker’s label for Arnold Constable of New York.

The coat is in very good condition with only one pinhole and a mark to the lining as pictured.
