Wonderful Original 1930s Vintage White Wide Brim Sun Hat

This wonderful hat was made in the 1930s from white artificial straw. It was fashioned with a classic shallow crown and a large brim that is wider at the front and shallower at the back, which allows it to be worn as a halo as well as tilted. This would make a fabulous sun hat that could be customised to a variety of outfits by adding different colours of hat ribbon to the crown.

Size: 20” at rim of the crown but as the crown is shallow, this hat perches on the head and is suitable for larger sizes. It fits loosely on my 21 1/2” head.

The hat is in very good condition with no issues to note.
