Super Rare Original 1940s Vintage Spider Web Beaded Velvet Purse Bag

This amazing bag was made in the 1940s from jet black velvet. Both sides of the bag have been delicately embroidered with hundreds of tiny silver beads in the shape of a spider inside its web. A velvet handle allows the bag to be carried in the crook of the elbow and a beautiful silver metal frame clash closes it at the top. The inside is lined in champagne brocade.

Size: 7” wide x 7” high plus 8 1/2” handle length 

Just about fits an iPhone widthways 

The bag is in very good condition with only some slight wear to the inside of the frame as pictured.
