This fabulous bag was made in the 1950s from red painted bamboo and net. The bamboo ribs frame the structure of the bag and allow the net to stretch between them to create a beautiful basket shape with a double bamboo handle. When not in use, the bag can be folded flat for easy storage and transport, perfect for holiday packing, and is held tightly in place with a press stud closure.

The bag is in very good condition with only some very slight wear as pictured.
