1980s does 1920s Black Leather Evening Heels Shoes
These stunning shoes were made from black leather in the 1980s and at some point adapted to add a 1920s button closure for a more period look. They were fashioned with a low heel and a strap across the top of the foot for support while dancing! This strap attaches at the side with the a small button. The top of the shoes features classic scalloped court shoe stitching details and the inside of the shoes has a maker’s reference and is marked size 4 1/2 but the maker’s name is no longer legible.

The shoes are in good condition, however there is some crinkling to the leather from previous improper storage which we have softened with balm and largely corrected using shoe stays so this should barely be noticeable when worn now. One of the buttons has lost its black paint, there is a scrape on the leather of one heel and some wear to the inside of one of the soles.
