This fabulous hat was made in the 1950s from textured black buckram. It was fashioned in the classic late 50s cap style that sits straight on the head with a tiny brim. Beautiful black satin ribbon with a top stitched decoration and a small gold buckle decorates the crown and adds a wonderful detail. Inside, there is a maker’s label for Haute Mode Beguin.
As the hat perches on the head, it is suitable for a variety of head sizes.
The hat is in very good condition with no issues to note.
