This wonderful hat was made in the 1930s from straw in the classic boater style. It features a stiff brim and shallow crown crafted from beautifully pleated straw. A black hat band adorns the crown and finishes in a lovely bow and matching trim decorates the edge of the brim. Inside, there is a leather hat band with a size 54 label and the inside of the crown bears the Vve Hard maker’s mark. This hat would look great warm as a tilt, jauntily perched at an angle on the head as well as worn in classic boater style.

The hat is in good condition however there are some nibbles to the hat band and the edge of the crown as well as some marks on the brim and leather band inside as pictured.
