This beautiful swing coat was made in a lightweight fushia pink wool in the 1940s. The coat combines padded shoulders with a collarless neckline which is embellished with midnight blue piping to the edge that extends down to the hem. The yoke at the bust is arrow shaped to add embellishment to the front of the coat. At the waist, there are functional pockets which curve towards the back of the coat. Inside, the coat is lined in a burnt orange rayon and has a National Recovery Board label.

The coat is in very good condition with only some barely noticeable marks and nibbles as well as a seam split to the lining as pictured.
