Original 1940s 40s Vintage Pale Green Grey Skirt With Arrow Point Decoration

This beautiful skirt was made from a light grey / sage green cotton cord in the 1940s. The faint vertical textured stripe of the fabric and the high waisted nature of the garment helps the eye to elongate the wearer’s body. The skirt is decorated with three arrow head triangle tabs with small button centres. Below each of these triangles is a small pleats that runs to the hem to give some wonderful movement and to finish the look.

The skirt is in very good condition, although it does have a small rust mark to the belt line as pictured.
