This pretty blouse was made from a cream coloured silk in the 1940s. It has an open style collar with delicately pleated shoulder and sleeve seams. The large bishop sleeves with tight shape forming cuffs add real drama to this blouse. A single line of four buttons runs down the centre of the blouse while the yoke adds a similar pleated theme to the rear of the garment. This blouse would look equally fabulous worn underneath a suit as it would tucked into a skirt or wide leg pants.

The blouse is in good condition with some snags and tiny holes in places as well as some small marks as pictured. There is also a repair to the seam at the back of the collar.
