This stunning princess coat was made from a soft deep navy blue wool in the 1940s. It was cut in the classic fit and flare silhouette of the period with padded shoulders, a nipped waist and a flared skirt. The super sharp notched lapel collar highlights the cute pocket detail at the bust. Beautiful dart work nips in the waist and the coat fastens with two large buttons at the waist. This piece is so very versatile and would make a truly wonderful addition to anyone’s wardrobe. Inside, it is lined with navy crepe and has a maker’s label for Rothmoor as well as a National Recovery Board tag.
