This stunning hat was made in the 1930s from tree bark textured crepe. The hat was fashioned in a classic turban style with three large pleats in the fabric to create addition texture. A loose fabric section at the side of the hat adds further interest and would look even more stunning adorned with a hat flash or brooch. The turban can be worn either straight on the head or at a jaunty angle. Inside, the hat is lined in rayon with a grosgrain hat band.

The hat is in very good condition with only some slight fraying to the side flounce as pictured.
