This stunning suit was made from a creamy white cotton in the 1940s. It features a delicate black and grey pinstripe, which gives this piece a strong femme fatale vibe. The jacket is cut in a classic late 1940s silhouette with a gently nipped waist. The notched lapel collar marks the beginning of a row of mother of pearl buttons, which have also been used to decorate the faux pocket flaps. Inside, the jacket is unlined and has the maker’s label for Peck & Peck. The skirt fastens with an original metal side zipper and button above.
