This gorgeous blouse was made from a soft cream silk in the 1940s. The blouse is cut with an oversized collar and large double button cuffs. A row of four pintucks runs down each side of the blouse from the bust to the hem. Gentle pleating along the shoulder seam emphasises the classic 1940s strong shoulder line.

The blouse is in good condition, however there is some faint discolouration at the underarms and the lower part of the placket (hidden when tucked in) as well as a popped seam and a small fabric flaw as pictured.
