Original 1940s 40s Vintage Navy Blue Taffeta Riding Jacket With Peplum And Mother Of Pearl Buttons

This beautiful jacket was made from a navy blue taffeta in the 1940s. The garment features a cut out front in the style of an equestrian or riders jacket. This creates a flattering peplum effect at the front of the jacket. The v-neckline is framed by a large wing collar. The jacket is fastened with three chrome buttons with faux mother of pearl centres. The peplum is embellished with a further three of these buttons on each side. The jacket also has a small bustle peplum to the rear and is unlined.
