Original 1940s Vintage Magenta Pink Evening Gown With Stencilled Rose Motif
This beautiful evening gown was made in the 1940s from pink taffeta. It was cut in a sleeveless design with a daring low neckline at the front and a deep V at the back. Shorting below the bust emphasises the wearer’s shape and leads beautifully into the elongated flat waist. The dress flared out into a floor length skirt which drapes and moves beautifully. The entire dress has been adorned with a stencilled silver pixelated rose pattern throughout and is unlined. Inside, it has little poppered tabs to hold your bra straps in place but the dress does not have any openings.

The dress is in fair condition, however a number of areas show rubbing off to the rise design and some faint fade to the underlying fabric as pictured. There are also a few repairs, marks, snags and pinholes as can be seen in the photographed, however these largely get lost in the folds of the dress.
