Original 1930s 30s Vintage Black Crepe Coat With Soutache Edge
This stunning three quarter length coat was made in the lightweight satin backed black crepe in the 1930s. The coat features gathered and padded shoulders and an attached waist tie, which can be tied at the front or back of the garment. Beautiful black soutache decoration extends around the raised collar and runs down the centre of the coat right down to the hem. Inside, the garment is unlined with only a faille trim to secure the inside of the collar and placket and without maker’s marks.

The coat is in good condition with only some small barely noticeable white marks to the back of the coat as pictured as well as a small hole to the faille fabric at the inside of the collar.
