Fabulous Original 1940s 40s Vintage Clip On Black Bow Tie

This fabulous bow tie was made from soft rayon faille in the 1940s. It is pre-tied with a double layered bow and clips to fasten it onto the collar at the back and hold it securely in place. This would make a fabulous gift or a treat for yourself to add to a formal outfit (very Marlene Dietrich)! This also looks super cute clipped to the neckline of a dress, the possibilities are endless.

The bow tie is in very good condition with only some rust at the clip mechanism as pictured which is not visible when worn.
