This fabulous shirt was made from emerald green gabardine in the late 1940s / early 1950s. It features a sharp dagger collar and fastens with five buttons at the front. Two large patch pockets adorn the chest and the shirt sleeves and loose fit make the shirt suitable for wearing in the summer or for dancing. Inside, there is a maker’s label for Daily Double - styled in Hollywood. The inside of the shirt has a fabric or pattern number printed on it, which is unusual.

The shirt is in very good condition, however there is a bark at the back of the collar, a seam repair and two of the button holes are fraying (the topmost one would benefit from restitching).
