Original 1940s 40s Vintage Navy Blue High Heel Shoes
These fabulous shoes were made in the 1940s. They come in a deep shade of navy with gabardine uppers. The shoes were designed in a classic heeled peep toe style. Petersham bows are used as a decorative detail near the small cut out at the top of the shoes. The shoes are leather soled and stamped with Shepard’s Shoes Lansing on the inside. Shepard’s Shoes was established in 1939 and was Michigan’s largest family owned shoe store and we included an old advert we found online.

According to shoe size charts the above measurements are equivalent to a UK 6 / US 8. However please compare the measurements to a pair of shoes you already own and note they are very narrow, which will affect fit.
The shoes are in good condition, however there is some marking to the heel of the left and the inside of the right shoe as pictured as well as some wear to the leather soles and the front of the insoles.
